In Croatia, there are as many as three sculptures of Grgur of Nin by the Croatian sculptor Ivan Me\u0161trovi\u0107, and the first, original bronze statue of the bishop is located in Vara\u017edin. Legend has it that you should touch the thumb of Grgur of Nin for good luck and make a wish. That’s why the people of Vara\u017edin have been polishing Grgur’s Thumb for decades, which is already worn out from millions of wishes. They say that many wishes have come true. Legend?
